{B has 4 adorable children, and she custom picked two "boyish" colors and two "girly" colors for her brood, instead of the birthstone colors- it turned out fabulous!}

{B ordered this necklace for her mama, and she wanted all 3 eggs to be purple instead of the girl's birthstones. I think it turned out gorgeous!}

{my first flight}

My mom called me one day, and said, "Hey! I want you to make me a bird nest necklace!" My first response was, "A what?" I had never even heard of them! She sent me a link to look at them, and I just grabbed the only supplies I could find. It wasn't very pretty, but it was a start. She loved it of course, {being my mom}, and on a whim I posted it on Facebook. By that afternoon I had 4 orders!

To Hobby Lobby I went, and bought myself some REAL supplies and made an even better one!
About a week before Mother's Day 2011, I was working around the clock to get orders done- I couldn't believe how popular my little project had become!

I have tweaked and perfected them throughout the year, and am so excited about designing your own little nest!
